2012 AUSTRALIAN SIX-COIN UNCIRCULATED SET The Royal Australian Mint’s Proof Year Set tradition continues with this celebration of Australia’s circulating coin designs. Six Australian Legal Tender Coins The set contains 2012-dated 5c, 10c, 20c and 50c coins portraying Stuart Devlin’s decimal designs introduced in 1966. It also includes a 2012 $1 coin, first seen in 1984, and a 2012 $2 coin, which originally entered circulation in 1988. Proof Quality Struck from cupro nickel or aluminium bronze, each proof quality coin is produced through a meticulous process of polishing, pressing and inspection. Special Edition Gilded 50 Cent Piece An exquisitely struck, selectively gold plated 50 cent piece is the central feature of the proof set.
