Cheers to Yass and Goldseeker!!! I always look forward to reading your posts - and if memory serves I met you both in Canberra last year when the Master Mint Counterstamp was released. The enthusiasm of Goldy was amazing. Not in the right area of course(I'm writing this on my phone) but for those who query the new 50c rolls I have been told by a dealer that they to be hand wrapped hence not as tight as normal rolls. Machine wrapping apparently wasn't availabel. That's my contribution for the year. I am now going into "lurk" mode :)

A sheepish response is required here. Very true Yass. I felt a little guilty about that, but also a little awkward. They were OK buying them for me, but I felt uncomfortable using them to buy for others. Deserving of a genuine apology, albeit a late one. Sorry!!!

Quite the contrary, I believe that the fostering of communication is the absolute key to a successful forum. If you want nothing but business talk, it will certainly take the joy from the hobby for me - I want to be educated AND enjoy the company of like minded people.

I think it would be best if we keep updating the one post and make it a sticky too. We can either put it under COINS, or make a new LINKS section on the main page.

An example on what it could look like.

AUS MINT'S
http://www.ramint.gov.au

DEALERS
http://www.acbo.com.au/

WORLD MINT'S

USEFUL INFO

I'd like to second this notion of a new links category established. Upon recently rejoining the forum, one question I posed was if anyone had any advice on cataloging and image handling software. I was grateful of the responses I received and it might prove useful to other new joiners if they had a repositry of this type of information. Although, I'm sure all members would benefit from seeing a compilation of links of various different numismatic sites made up from forum members.
